This activity is a great handwriting practice, that will help kids build creative writing skills. This simple writing prompt is a great story starter, especially for reluctant writers.
Have kids imagine they found the leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and what they’d do with it. You might get some fun and unexpected answers.
At the bottom of the page, there is also a picture of a pot of gold surrounded by shamrocks for kids to color in. They can use their favorite art supplies, and adding some gold glitter to the coins will truly make the gold shine!

- Paper.
- Colored pencils (or other coloring mediums, such as crayons or markers).
- Pen.
