FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is digital (scrapbook) paper?

A: Digital (scrapbook) paper is a digital image of a pattern. Typically, it is in JPG format, 12 x 12 inches large and 300 dpi.

You can use it for digital scrapbooking or print it onto regular paper and use it for your paper craft projects. You can make many wonderful things with it – cards, invitations, party decorations, banners, cupcake toppers, etc. You can use it as a wrapping paper, too.

Q: How do I print the files?

A: You can print the files at home (most home printers don’t produce the best quality, though) or you can use professional printing services like FedEx Office.

If you want to print 12×12 inches large digital paper on a standard US Letter size/ A4 paper you can shrink the image to fit the page size in your printing settings or print it full size to get a portion of the image.

Q: What paper should I use to print wall art?

A: For printing wall art you can choose photo paper (with glossy, semi-gloss, or matte finish, this is a matter of personal preference) or a thicker paper. Do a test print of your wall art on regular copy paper first. This way you will make sure, that everything is ok with the scaling, there is enough ink the printer, etc. You can fix the settings and not waste a sheet of your good paper.

You can also choose a high-quality cotton fiber paper (also called rag paper) or print on canvas. Not all home printers will print on these materials, so you’ll need to go to a print shop.

Q: Can I use your files for commercial purposes?

A: No. The files are for personal and classroom use only. This means you cannot sell or distribute the digital files, or print and sell the printed files. You cannot modify and sell the files.

Creating these files and sharing them for free takes a lot of time and energy, please respect that. If you want to share the files with a friend, please send a link to the file and not the file itself.
