How to play Christmas charades?
Christmas charades is a game where players “act out” a Christmas phrase, while the other members of their team try to guess what the phrase is.
Charades is a game of pantomimes:
- No talking, making noise, or lip movements of any kind
- No pointing at things in the room
- No props
First of all, prepare the cards. Download the Christmas charades template at the bottom of this post. Print the template, there are a total of 32 cards on 4 pages. Next, cut out the cards using a paper trimmer or scissors. Put them in a vessel.
Divide players into two teams. A player from team A takes one card from the bowl. Set a timer for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
The player acts out what is on the card for the other players on their team to guess. If they guess the phrase correctly, they get one point. If they don’t, team B has a chance to guess it.
The game continues until there are no cards left. The team with the most points wins.
