Supplies

To make this DIY banner you will need the following supplies:

Buffalo plaid Christmas bunting (link below)
Home printer (or you can go to your local print shop)
White cardstock (or ordinary paper)
Paper cutter or scissors
Hole punch
Twine, ribbon, or string

Instructions

Step 1: Download and print.

Click on the link at the end of the post to download the bunting.

Print onto 8.5 x 11″ sized white cardstock. Cardstock is sturdier than ordinary paper, but if you don’t have it at hand typical printer paper will do.

Step 2: Cut.

Using scissors or a paper cutter cut out each flag along the edges.

Step 3: Punch holes and string.

Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the top corners of each flag.

Thread a ribbon or twine through the flag. You can use tape or a little bit of hot glue to secure the letters in place, so they don’t slide around the string.

Hang up your Christmas bunting wherever you please and enjoy!

Download the PDF file and print it at home or at your local print shop. Print as many copies as you need.

Print on standard 8.5″×11″ paper (US Letter). To print on A4 paper select “Fit to page” in your printer settings.

To make the page more durable print on heavier-weight paper or cardstock.
